Faculties: Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Support of professional development of teachers, Faculty of Innovational Technologies and Teaching Methodics of natural sciences (humanities) disciplines, Faculty of Education and Personalization Socialization, Faculty of Governance and Education Quality, Faculty of Pre-school and Primary Education.

Branch of JSC “National Center for professional development “Orleu” institute for professional development of pedagogical staff in Almaty region

  • 1951г. – By Order № 84 from 15.03.1951 of Ministry of Education of Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic was established Almaty regionalIinstitute for Teacher’s Improvement
  • 1959 – was eliminated Taldy-Kurgan region and functions of Taldy-Kurgan Institute for Teacher’s Improvement were transferred to Almaty Institute for Teacher’s Improvement
  • By the decision № 285 from 3 July 1992 of regional administration was converted to Almaty regional institute for professional development of staff.
  • 2012 – Almaty regional institute for professional development of staff was reorganized to branch of JSC “NCPD “Orleu” institute of professional development of pedagogical staff in Almaty region.

Faculty of Psychological and Pedagogical Support of professional development of teachers.

The main function of faculty – implementation of psycho-pedagogical training of teachers, that meet modern educational requirements. In this regard, teaching staff directs attention on effective forms of activity, allowing properly accompany professional activity of course participants. Formation of needs of teacher’s in the development of professionalism, achievement of their skill level, providing a high productivity of pedagogical activity, its humanistic orientation.

Faculty members are focused on provision of qualitative teacher training in a field of psycho-pedagogical bases of educational process organization, corresponding to requirements of modern life. Lectors of faculty deepen their scientific-research capacity, taking part in international and republican conferences, congresses (Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, etc.).

Faculty organizes and conducts scientific-research and experimental work on psycho-pedagogical support and approbation.

Faculty of Innovational Technologies and Teaching Methodics of natural sciences (humanities) disciplines

Teaching staff of faculty engaged in improvement scientific and methodical level of subject teachers of secondary school and new type schools. Great attention is devoted to formation and development of functional literacy of pedagogical staff in a context of demand of new formation teacher, capable to prepare students for life in a competitive society.

Faculty of Pre-school and Primary Education develops and implements programs for professional development of pedagogical staff, methodical and didactical material for staff of pre-school organizations and teachers of primary school teachers in a secondary schools.

Faculty of Education and Personalization Socialization develops and realizes programs for professional level improvement of pedagogical staff for young people to develop both personality and professionally significant qualities, necessary for life in a modern society and effective professional activity, implements a methodical support of educational process in a general education institutions, develops methodical recommendations, manuals, summarizes teachers best practices. Through course training faculty provides study and use of innovational approaches, methods in organization of educational work. Works on realization of study program on civil education “Project Citizen” that is an international program.

Faculty of Governance and Education Quality of branch JSC “NCPD “Orleu” is an educational, scientific and structural division of branch of JSC “NCPD “Orleu”, implementing educational, methodical and scientific-research work on professional development of leading and research-pedagogical staff of education system on problems of management in a field of education.

  • In 2012 institute started three-month course training of subject teachers on Cambridge program. In 2012 were trained 500 teachers of region. In 2013 is planned a training of 620 teachers more.
  • Lectors of faculty implements is an introduction of automation technologies of the educational process in education institution of Almaty region on the basis of the “e-Learning” pilot project, training covered more that 1400 teachers. Are shaped events on development of study practice in an ONLINE mode.
  • Are processed rules of study process organization on distance education technologies: Moodle, VCT, Intel etc.
  • Is conducted a training on methodics of use of modern informational classrooms on Pasco system.
  • Is conducted an introduction in an education  system of a range of issues: infrastructure technologization in introduction of e-Learning system; work on electronic journals and diaries; internet for system of e-Learning; technologies of database and web-servers control; technologies of educational contents development, etc.
