On February 9, 2022, the “Orleu” branch of the East Kazakhstan Region held a regional webinar “Organization of project and research activities of students”, where more than 70 teachers of secondary schools of the region took part. The speaker of the webinar, Natalia Akhaeva, PhD, professor, academician, director of the KSU “Valeological Specialized School-complex for gifted Children”, introduced the audience to the organization of students’ design and research activities and innovative activities in the educational process. Teachers A.G.Ermakova and L.A. Bulyga. they presented a model for the development of research competencies of younger schoolchildren, and also offered scientific and methodological recommendations for organizing research activities and preparing students for competitions of scientific projects.
