In honour of the 110th anniversary of the outstanding statesman and public figure Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich Konayev, in the library of the “Orleu” branch in the Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent, the teaching staff of the Department “Preschool and primary education” held an information hour on the topic “The outstanding person of the time”.
During the event, a conversation took place about the civic position and work activity of an outstanding personality, three times Hero of Socialist Labor, 24 years old leader of the Kazakh SSR and more than 20 years old member of the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee – Dinmukhamed Akhmetovich Konayev.
Librarian Z. Seitkaziyeva introduced the popular science series “Outstanding people”, published in 2011 by the Central Scientific Library of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the unique of the great personalities D.Konayev – “Mukhittan өtken kaiyk”.
