On February 25, 2022, the congress of teachers of preschool education and training of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Modern preschool education and training: trends, problems, prospects” was held in the city of Kokshetau with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aimagambetov A.K.
At the plenary session, Aimagambetov A.K. made a brief overview of the state of the preschool education and training system and outlined strategic directions for its development, taking into account new requirements.
The congress brought together more than 300 people. These are experts of the Institute of Early Childhood Development of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads and specialists of departments of preschool education and training of regional education departments, regional methodological centers and offices, heads, methodologists and teachers of preschool organizations, teachers of universities, pedagogical colleges, specialists of advanced training institutes, specialists of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Kazakhstan, non-governmental organizations and publishing houses.
The work of four sections was organized at the congress. The moderator of the section “Professional and personal growth of preschool teachers” was G.K. Ibragimova, PhD, head of the department of the Institute “Orleu” in the Karaganda region. Within the framework of the section, the issues of professional development of teachers were considered in accordance with modern ideas about the content and quality of preschool education. The proposals of the participants of the sections were included in the resolution of the congress.
