On April 7, 2022, an Internet meeting of teachers of the Russian language and literature of the North Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions was held to discuss issues related to the development of reader literacy.
The purpose of the organization of the discussion platform is to create favorable conditions for the exchange of experience and the definition of a unified strategy for the formation of modern students’ reading skills in the system.
During the discussion, the teachers analyzed the goals and objectives of PISA, the types of texts of the new format and the tasks of 3 aspects (information extraction, its interpretation and reflection). This meeting is an important factor in enriching the participants’ ideas about new and modern requirements for the education system in the XXI century, preparation for the international PISA study.
