On March 1, 2022, the senior teacher of the «Orleu» branch in the Karaganda region K.G. Smagulova took part in the round table «History is made by individuals», organized by school-lyceum No. 15 in Balkhash.
The purpose of the round table is to update knowledge about the role of significant personalities in the history of the people, their contribution to the future of the country, exchange of views on the activities of Alikhan Bokeykhan and Ahmet Baitursynuly in the development of Kazakh society and the state.
K.G. Smagulova introduced the participants of the round table with the works of Ahmet Baitursynuly, devoted to the issues of teaching the Kazakh language.
The round table was attended by Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature of Karaganda University named after E.A. Buketov, Ph.D. J.K. Smagulov and head of the department of Kazakh language and literature, Ph.D., professor K.Z. Sembiev.
The scientists presented their opinions on the significance of the social and literary works of Alikhan Bokeykhan and Ahmet Baitursynuly to the participants of the round table.
Teachers and schoolchildren of schools in the city of Balkhash noted the importance of the heritage of Alikhan Bokeykhan and Ahmet Baitursynuly for the education of patriotism and the formation of a national spirit.
