Today, in honor of the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov and September 5–the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, the Department for the Development of Languages of the Aktobe region with the support of the Akimat of the Aktobe region held a meeting “Til-halyk Kazyna”.
The meeting began this year with a linguistic gymnasium, which was named after the outstanding linguist A. Baitursynov by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 14, 2022 No. 398. Invited guests from Almaty-specialists of the Akhmet Baitursynov Institute of Linguistics presented valuable books about the poet.
The event continued at Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov. Linguists noted the great role of the scientist-reformer in the educational work of the country, in creating the foundations of linguistic and literary sciences. The significance of Akhmet Baitursynov’s works was discussed in detail.
At the end of the event, the staff of the Institute of Professional Development of Aktobe region was awarded a Letter of Thanks for their great contribution to the implementation of the state language policy.
This year the institute held several events with the participation of teachers of the region:
- Regional scientific and practical seminar ” Kazak alipbiin latyn grafikasyna koshiru: masele, pikir, usynys “
- Regional round table “Memlekettik tilge kurmet- rukhani zhangyrudyn zharkyn zholy” and a number of events dedicated to the anniversary of poets and writers. Especially important for the Institute is the contribution to improving the status of the state language.
At the same time, it is worth noting that studying the merits of the teacher of the nation and introducing his rich heritage to the consciousness of generations is a common task for all of us.
