To support preschool organizations in studying robotics, Kostanay branch of Orleu organized a training seminar “Robotics in kindergarten as a means of developing the preschool children’s cognitive interest”.
Today, robotics is effectively introduced into the teaching and learning process of schoolchildren as an effective tool for the development of algorithmic, creative thinking, as well as an intersubjects approach that allows you to more effectively study science disciplines. To use robotics productively already in primary school, it is important to organize connections between educational levels, that is, starting from preschool age, to introduce children to the construction of linear algorithms and more to teach how to design and model.
At the seminar “Robotics in kindergarten as a means of developing the preschool children’s cognitive interest” the issues related to the selection of optimal sets for their use in the teaching and learning process, planning lessons with robotics sets to develop cognitive interest and involve children in learning activities were considered.
During the work, teachers were able to share their experiences, to get answers to hot questions, as well as to see online how programming of the most common robots for preschool educational organizations takes place.
